How To Comprehend Narrative About Reality Amidst False Flag Phenomena

Recently the content creator behind Truthstream Media typed the following message on their twitter account

I’m going to start using the phrase “synthetic multiverse effect” to describe what happens when institutions use narrative to frame events rather than allowing events to inform narrative, thus putting people into false realities based on what is said about what happened, not what actually happened.

The problem I see with this is that false flags are massive, so something ostensibly happens but the question is what are the real motives behind the actions that create the apparent reality? Like Jussie Smollet Ostensibly faked a racist attack, but still the question is what was Jussie Smollet's motive? Was his motive to be caught faking the attack or is what ostenisbly occured the true nature of his motive? Once someone is apparently manipulating us, don't we need to question how deep the manipulation goes?

In the leadup to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, Pentagon Spokesperson, John Kirby stated that the pentagon believed that Russia was going to conduct a false flag attack in which Ukraine appeared to attack Russians complete with fake explosions, fake victims, fake mourners and even fake corpses in order to justify Russia invading Ukraine. So this was the pentagon publicly acknowledging that countries do this sort of thing. A narrative built on what actually happens would have to know the inner motives of actors which, admittedly by the pentagon, conduct actions in the name of an organization or cause in order to undermine that cause or organization.

The idea of a false flag with fake explosions, fake victims, fake mourners and fake corpses begs the question how often does this activity occur in the world? And if one country can conduct an event of this nature, can two countries conduct a series of events like this and create the appearance of a war?
